Baylor Health Care System Credit Union celebrated its 50th anniversary on July 11, 2007.  The Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that is owned by more than 6,400 members that save and borrow from the institution.  Its mission is to fulfill the financial needs of Baylor and affiliate employees.

Five decades ago, Baylor Credit Union started with a mere 11 members depositing a total of $250; today the Credit Union boasts almost $40 million in assets.  Over the years the services that the Credit Union offers have also grown considerably.  From its beginnings as a savings account only institution, the Credit Union currently offers employees and their family members savings, checking, Christmas club, and IRA account options.  In addition, the Credit Union has a variety of low interest loan options including mortgage loans, new and used auto loans, recreational vehicle loans, MasterCard and personal loans.  Members can also take advantage of direct deposit and 12 convenient ATMs located at facilities around the system.

All Baylor Health Care System and affiliate employees and their immediate family members are welcome to join the Credit Union.  It's easy.  Simply drop by the office located at 4005 Crutcher St., Suite 130 in Dallas, 75246, fill out a membership application and make an initial membership deposit of $25.  There are no ongoing membership or maintenance fees to take advantage of the Credit Union's full line of services.
